Flask, Shake, 250mL, 3 Baffles, GL-45 Thread, Vented Cap, Approx OD x Height (mm): 80 x 125. Flask has 3 baffles on the lower outside edge of the flask to maximize oxygen transfer to the culture medium when used on an orbital shaker. The polypropylene vented caps have a 0.22µm (PTFE) hydrophobic membrane to allow sterile gas exchange while preventing contamination. Since these caps are vented, the flasks can be autoclaved with the cap attached.

Erlenmeyer and Fernbach culture flasks are designed for shaker and cell culture applications. All flasks feature a 70mm neck size that provides easy access for filling and dispensing. The unique shape of the Fernbach flask provides an increased surface area to volume ratio for improved gas exchange. The flasks are available in 2L Erlenmeyer, 2L and 3L Fernbach sizes, with baffled bottoms. The polypropylene caps are knurled for secure grip and are configured in 70mm large vent or non-vented styles. The flasks are constructed from an optically clear polycarbonate material that can be autoclaved. All flasks include a vented cap and are individually packed in bags and gamma irradiation sterilized. Additional caps are available separately.

Flask, Erlenmeyer, 2000mL, Plain, Sterile, Polycarbonate, 38-430 Thread, with Blue Duo Cap. Erlenmeyer flasks are sterile, non-pyrogenic and manufactured with polycarbonate resin. Flasks are supplied with exclusive DuoCap designed for both aerobic and anaerobic applications. For aerobic applications the cap utilizes a 0.22m pore size PTFE membrane for sterile air exchange. For anaerobic applications the cap can easily be converted to a solid top design. Solid top caps are also ideal for applications requiring mixing, shaking and storage of biological fluids. Graduations are molded for accuracy.EZTear packaging allows for easy access.
